The person that I have done name was “Francisca Vasquez de Coronado”. Coronado was known for doing a lot of things. Coronado has got the idea of traveling across the world from the people before himself. The man that I am talking about is named “Francisco Pizarro.”  Francisco Pizarro took a boat on his way to Peru. Coronado was considered one of the foremost European explorers of this great period of discovery. Coronado was born into a very noble family in Salamanca in west-central of Spain in the year of 1510. Coronado parents name were Juan Vasquez de Coronado and Isabel de Lujan.

In 1537 Coronado earned a favorable reputation in Spain when Viceroy Mendoza asked him to quell an African slave revolt. His expedition into the North America interior is worth for more than elusive gold he sought for the knowledge he had gain. Coronado was one of the first European men to explore American south-west. Coronado was a very intelligent man. People such as Coronado has done things people like me would have never done.

Coronado was in search of the fabled seven cities of gold, but he found only a strange new land. It was a landscape of stone houses and the natives who lived in them. When he returned to Mexico City, his expedition was deemed a failure because he had found no gold or wealth of any kind. That’s why today Coronado was considered one of the foremost European explorers of this great period of discovery.

Coronado was a very famous man he led his army from New Spain north word though the present day static of ariz and, Texas, Oklahoma. He might have been worship for what he has done in that period of time. No one that I think can do what he has done beside the other people before him. He has accomplished a lot of things.
